Direct fired heaters:

Direct fired heaters provide economical and efficient frost protection. Ideal for areas with high ventilation rates, they can also supply fresh unheated air for summertime ventilation. Highly flexible, they can be suspended from ceilings or wall-mounted. Some models do not require a vertical flue so no valuable heat is lost through the ceiling.

Indirect fired & unit cabinet heaters:

Ideal for well-sealed units with low air change rates, this type of heater accurately maintains temperatures. Capable of increasing the heat by between 10 to 15 degrees without damaging crops, they can also be used as warm air curtains. When air movement, heating and CO2 enrichment are all required, they can be ceiling mounted. Alternatively, room sealed fan flued options allow fuel-saving horizontal flueing.

Radiant heaters:

Available in tube or plaque form, Calor LPG powered radiant heaters radiate infrared heat, directly warming surfaces in their path. The most direct form of heating available, they can warm a precise location. What’s more, because radiant heaters do not heat the air space above the targeted areas, no heat is wasted. Radiant heaters do not circulate dust, so they are ideal when a clean atmosphere is required.
